Upgrading Navision (now called Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is a core business for Radiant Technologies. Because of our vast experience with Navision Upgrades (we have been working with Navision since version 1.00 in 1995) our company has developed a Navision Upgrade methodology which takes into account several aspects of the upgrade:
- Identifying any modifications in your Navision Database, either by a partner or you as the customer
- Deciding if / how to move those modifications into the new version, or of there is new native functionality which can be used instead of the modifications
- Deciding exactly which Navision version is right for the customer
- Training on the new interface and features of the latest Microsoft Navision version
- Perform any date compression / archiving of old data
