San Diego, California – Sept 15th, 2011 – Michael Anderson, CEO and Founder of Radiant Technologies Inc., led a cloud computing discussion for business accountants and financial professionals as a part of the Institute of Management Accountant’s (IMA) San Diego chapter. Mr. Anderson defined cloud computing with hands-on examples of popular uses. “Software speed and security,” Michael Anderson explained, “is not an issue in the cloud.” Software speed does not change when switching to the cloud; it is the same as a company’s internet speed. In addition, hosting facilities are much more secure with temperature-controlled server rooms, flood and fire protected buildings, and in some cases even armed guards.
